ELECTROLYTIC COPPER COATING
Copper – Coated Steel Strıp
Copper-coated steel strıp and precısıon slıttıng
Net Boru applies electrolytic copper coating to cold-rolled low-carbon steel using its own process know-how. Copper acts as the brazing medium during double-wall tube production.
Coating thickness can be controlled between 1.5 μm and 5.0 μm, with a stated annual coating capacity of 20,000 tons.
Send us your drawing, dimensions, coating specification and annual volume for technical review.
Controlled Thıckness
Coating thickness is controlled according to process and customer requirements.
Unıform Surface
The coating system is designed to provide consistent copper distribution.
Precısıon Slıttıng
Copper-coated strip is slit to widths required for different tube diameters.
From steel coıl to tube-ready strıp
Steel is received in 7.5-ton coils and slit into three 340 mm-wide strips for the copper coating line. After coating, the material is slit again to the precise widths required for tube production.
Applıcatıons and supply
Copper-coated steel is used in the manufacture of double-wall copper-brazed tubing. Copper-coated slit steel can also be supplied as a product according to customer requirements.
